Sgt. Michael J. Guillory, 28, of Slidell, La., died while conducting a resupply mission in Helmand province, Marine officials said in a news release issued Saturday. He was a critical skills operator assigned to Camp Pendleton’s 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion, part of Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command.
